The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) demonstrates its commitment to enhancing technical education quality through the implementation of various Government of India initiatives. Among these, the AICTE-Vibrant Advocacy for Advancement and Nurturing of Indian Languages (VAANI – 2025-26) scheme stands out for its focus on promoting regional languages in educational contexts. AICTE-VAANI aims to strengthen the teaching-learning process by encouraging faculty members and students to engage with technical concepts in their native languages. This initiative facilitates the development of comprehensive knowledge repositories in local languages, making cutting-edge technical information more accessible across diverse linguistic communities. By supporting the creation of technical content that incorporates recent innovations and developments in regional languages, VAANI helps bridge language barriers in technical education. Furthermore, the scheme encourages research publication in Indian languages, fostering stronger connections between educational institutions and industry partners through improved communication channels. Through VAANI, AICTE is building a more inclusive technical education ecosystem that values linguistic diversity while advancing India's technological capabilities.
